The Chemical Industry Leadership Forum drew more than 50 senior management attendees from leading worldwide chemical manufacturers gathered last week (February 3rd) in New Orleans to discuss the challenges of managing manufacturing big data, and offer insights on how the value of that data can be unlocked to improve process efficiency and the bottom line.
Leading the conversation at the invitation-only Forum was Dr. Lloyd Colegrove, Data Services Director and Fundamental Problem Solving Director from The Dow Chemical Company. With his recognized innovative application of statistical strategies into real-time data analysis for continuous and batch processing, Dr. Colegrove highlighted how Dow’s manufacturing data analysis and collaboration program has tied together multiple plants across the world to trouble shoot in real time to pre-emptively detect and alert plants of costly issues well before crisis.
Northwest Analytics sponsors the series of Industry Leadership Forums to highlight real-world examples of how manufacturing companies, of all sizes and across industries, can leverage manufacturing analytics solutions to better support their processes. The next event will be held in March, 2015 in Denmark. For more information and registration details, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
