For routine procedures, it's hard to beat the convenience of a desktop shortcut. Fortunately, it's easy to add a shortcut to an NWA Quality Analyst® Run file:

  1. Find the Run file (it has a .RUN extension) in Windows® Explorer.
  2. Right-click the Run file and select Create Shortcut from the pop-up menu. (The shortcut will appear in the list of files in Windows Explorer.)
  3. Drag the shortcut to the Windows Desktop.

Now, when you double-click the shortcut, the Quality Analyst Run file executes.

This, and other tricks such as executing Run files from Windows Task Scheduler, are explained in Executing Run Files, Chapter 9 of the NWA Quality Analyst User's Manual.
