Wonderware IndustrialSQL Server 8 Interface

This interface allows Quality Analyst to retrieve data from version 8 of Wonderware's IndustrialSQL Server. The current and previous releases of Quality Analyst include an interface for IndustrialSQL Server version 7. This interface works with Quality Analyst 5.1 release 1.5.28 or later and all releases of Quality Analyst 5.2.

Quality Analyst 5.2 releases 2.2.67 and later already include this interface; if you have release 2.2.67 or later, you do not need this download.

Your copy of Quality Analyst must be licensed for the IndustrialSQL interface in order to take advantage of this download.

In addition to working with Wonderware IndustrialSQL version 8, several new features have been added to this NWA Quality Analyst interface. This new interface works only with IndustrialSQL version 8. For earlier versions of IndustrialSQL, continue to use the previous interface program. The two interfaces can coexist and operate with both NWA Quality Analyst 5.1 release 1.5.28 or later and all version 5.2 releases.

Quality Analyst 5.2 releases 2.2.67 and later already include this interface; if you have release 2.2.67 or later, you do not need this download.

Version 5.1 16-bit Upgrade Patch

This patch will upgrade NWA Quality Analyst, releases 1.4.026 or earlier, to the last 16-bit release of version 5.1, running on any version of Microsoft Windows. This patch corrects problems found in previous releases of Quality Analyst. (The corrections are listed in the README included with the upgrade.) If you use Windows 98, NT4, 2000, or XP, you may prefer to update to version 6.2 of Quality Analyst.

LAN User Count Enforcement

All Quality Analyst LAN licenses limit the number of simultaneous users. This release now enforces that limit. Users who try to run Quality Analyst while the user-count limit has been reached will receive a message informing them that there are no user slots available. Note that the simultaneous user count includes users executing Quality Analyst Run Files from icons (shortcuts) or other applications.

Often, a Stored Procedure is the most efficient and effective method of manipulating data in complex databases in preparation for supplying it to external applications like NWA Quality Analyst.
