PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - Mar 4, 2015) - The Manufacturing Leadership Forum, sponsored by Northwest Analytics, took place March 2 and 3, 2015 in Denmark and highlighted manufacturing innovation in the pharmaceutical and life sciences markets. This executive forum facilitated the exchange of ideas critical for advancing the use of data and analytics to drive improvements in manufacturing processes and the supply chain.

This third in a series of six events sponsored by Northwest Analytics delivered two days of informative sessions discussing the challenges of managing manufacturing big data, and offered insights on how the value of that data can be unlocked to drive Continuous Processing Verification (CPV) to control and improve processes in real time using existing data sources and lower risk.

The forum featured noted data analytics visionary Dr. Lloyd Colegrove, Data Services Director and Fundamental Problem Solving Director from The Dow Chemical Company. Dr. Colegrove has been instrumental in driving the innovative application of statistical strategies into real-time data analysis for continuous and batch processing.

The Dow Chemical Company has been using NWA Focus EMI®, a next-generation manufacturing intelligence system, to fundamentally change how data is viewed and used in relation to the health and capability of manufacturing assets. The software enables managers, engineers and operators to identify analyze and resolve issues with fast, informed decisions through visibility in real time from all existing data sources.

The next forum will be hosted in Philadelphia, PA in early May.
