Northwest Analytics Posts Record 40 Percent Year-over-Year Growth for 2013
Performance Driven by Product Sales of NWA Focus EMI and Expansion of Partner Channel

Portland, OR (January 29, 2014) – Northwest Analytics, a leader in manufacturing intelligence solutions for process industries, today announced that it has posted record year-over-year software sales and revenue for the third consecutive year, hitting a new high in annual revenue for 2013.

“The continued growth of Northwest Analytics demonstrates our commitment to providing technologically advanced enterprise manufacturing intelligence solutions (EMI) that meet the needs of the market,” said Robert Ward, Northwest Analytics CEO.  “NWA Focus EMI®, our new flagship product launched in May last year, has been extremely well-accepted by the manufacturing community and, along with channel expansion here and abroad, has been a driving force in our record 40 percent year-over-year growth in 2013.  Northwest Analytics is poised to continue its momentum as a valued partner to manufacturers worldwide and an innovative leader in the EMI space.”

NWA Focus EMI is a next-generation EMI solution that provides complete manufacturing data source integration with real-time process analytics and visibility to drive process improvements and cost savings across a single plant or an entire enterprise. Additional capabilities of NWA Focus EMI include two unique accelerating modules that greatly improve a user’s ability to accumulate and disseminate knowledge across the entire enterprise, and also collaborate across geographically dispersed manufacturing operations to pinpoint and quickly resolve issues and share best practices.

Manufacturers of all sizes are benefiting from the application of NWA Focus EMI to monitor, analyze and adjust processes in real time. This point will be underscored in the ARC World Industry Forum being held in Orlando from February 10-13 as Northwest Analytics customers Palmer Foundry, a small aluminum casting company in Massachusetts and Dow Chemical, with plants throughout the world, present real-world ROI and process optimization examples using NWA Focus EMI.

“We’re seeing strong pent up demand by both new and existing customers for the type of manufacturing intelligence NWA Focus EMI delivers across an enterprise,” said NWA Vice President of Marketing Peter Guilfoyle.  “Sales of the new solution have been dramatic. Customers value not only the real-time insights NWA Focus EMI delivers, but also a total-system payback that averages only a few months.”

The average NWA Focus EMI implementation is complete in weeks instead of months by leveraging a manufacturer’s existing technology investments which in turn drives immediate value and fast ROIs.

In other highlights, Northwest Analytics expanded its channel delivery capabilities by adding key partners both internationally and domestically, including MAVERICK Technologies and Stone Technologies in the U.S., and Beijing Sunway World Science & Technology Company in China. According to Guilfoyle, “With these partnerships Northwest Analytics is well set to cover the increased installation and implementation demands for NWA Focus EMI.
